From what I have seen of the show here and there (its a good show) he is pretty frontrunner and would probably be missed.

binky, I'm not quite sure who you're talking about. On SVU, Chris Meloni plays edgy/angsty Detective Elliot Stabler who is slightly vigilante, but ultimately a good cop. I wouldn't go so far as to call "crazy" per se, although he has his moments were he comes close to the deep end.

Yeah, he was GREAT on Oz. It's funny how so many cast members from Oz wound up on SVU. I always wanted Meloni's Oz character Chris Keller to be revealed as Stabler's evil twin, whom he was separated with from birth. lol
