Saw The 'Possum This Morning Empty Saw The 'Possum This Morning

Post by Shale Sun Mar 10, 2013 10:57 am

Went to do my laundry this morning and there was a small 'possum on the balcony. I suppose it is the same one I fotografed last December - it comes up here to eat the cat food that the neighbors leave out for the strays that live in the complex. (Miami Beach has a bunch of stray cats).

Anyhow, last month I saw a 'possum of this size run over in the street and figured it was the same one, but apparently it was a relative. Unless they all know about the cat food on the balcony.

    BTW, I just love this:

They come in my back yard sometimes along with the Raccoons. I have a vinyl fence in my back yard and one night I went outside and saw a possum on top running the length of the fence. I guess I scared it and it went flying off the fence onto the ground and was trying to claw its way back up but kept slipping. I was laughing and it just sat there for a few minutes panting and then waddled over to the bushes and climbed up that way.

Watch out for them racoons, Tony. They're a good source for rabies! Brooklyn is a good source for rabbis though.

Yeah I know unc, the raccoons mostly come out late at night and they don't come in my yard anymore because I don't leave my garbage pails in the yard, I put them in the shed. My stupid neighbor next door leaves their pails, full of garbage right on the side of their house so naturally the raccoons go there and have a picnic every night. They knock the pails over and rip open the garbage pails and leave a mess all over his sidewalk. You would think the idiot would do what I do and not leave the garbage where they can get to it. I guess they like cleaning up the garbage in the morning.
