When you pass on, would you rather your body be buried or cremated?

If I had my choice, I would be placed in a mausoleum in Chicago. But because that may not be what is affordable when I die, then I would be burried. Never ever creamated.

Buried. I guess it really wouldn't matter but I don't like the whole idea of cremation.

Nice to see I'm not alone here. Everybody else I ask usually says cremated, but the idea doesn't set well with me. I want to be buried.

Cremated - I don't want to be spider food. Also don't want to have to pay for a burial plot. I'd rather get cremated, put in a yogurt container, scattered over the ocean, and have my loved ones use the money they'd have spent on my funeral and burial on a nice, topical vacation. I want as few people as possible to profit from my death - only my family.

I agree people shouldn't go all out on funerals. When I go, I want it very basic, no music, no flowers, no $6000 lead lined coffin or whatever, they look at me in the bed at the house I died in, then take me out and bury me.

Yeah - Is just bothers me that people make such a profit out of someone else's grief. I'd rather my family remember me by taking a trip, than spending the money on an expensive funeral. i can't believe how much some of them cost!

Kind of like when Lucille Ball died, before she did, she insisted that they don't spend the funeral feeling sorry for losing her...instead she wanted everybody to go out and have a big picnic and that's what they did.

I'd rather be buried and unless a loved one stipulated that they wanted to be cremated, I would never do it. I just can't reconcile having the body of a loved one put into a crematorium and charred until there's nothing left but ash.

Rather be cremated. Corpses decomposing to nothing but skeletons, while maggots and other earth parasites feed on it is disgusting to me.

Don't really care, honestly. Though knowing my family, they'd just go for the cheaper option LOL
