- Labor Day Monday: July 21, 2010 rerun, featuring Natalie and Jessica keeping their sudden pregnancies secret, Viki and Charlie taking off for a vacation, and Gigi receiving an acceptance letter from Llanview University.
- The question of paternity is about to come out of Natalie’s lips to John’s ears when Marty steps in and interrupts with something else.
- Natalie tries to broach the truth with John about the questionable paternity of her unborn baby, when the topic of Eli’s heinous lies comes up.
- John lets Marty know all is well, since Eli perished in a fire in Tahiti.
- Marty nobly extends congratulations to her ex- John and Natalie for their bundle of joy about to come.
- John and Natalie view their baby in ultra-sound.
- John’s stern viewpoint against lies of any sort (talk about Eli and his lies) shuts Natalie up but good.
- Jessica and Brody look upon their newborn in utero, via ultra-sound.
- Jessica fingers Ford as a possibility in her baby paternity drama, sending Brody off on a tear.
- Jessica communicates to Brody that she wasn’t in her right mind yet back when she and Ford did it.
- Brody wants to beat the living crap out of Ford. Things get ugly as Brody makes it all about Ford forcing himself on pure, saintly, innocent Jess.
- Brody has Ford up against the wall and is manhandling the writing professor, when Langston approaches.
- Ford tattles on Brody to Jess. It matters to Ford a lot what Langston thinks of him.
- Ford actually cares how he comes across to Langston. This Jessica complication isn’t helping him any.
- Langston takes Starr into her confidence about feelings for Ford.
- It soon comes to Natalie’s attention that Jessica can’t be certain if Ford or Brody sired that unborn baby.
- Brody confides in Natalie that he’s about to blow. Natalie tries to get him to calm down and see things clearly, keep everything secret still.
- Unable to face Langston (after the Brody incident), Ford tries to bow out of his teaching assignment at LU.
- Langston attends her LU creative writing class, expecting to deal with Mr. Ford, but is shocked to find he’s not there.
- Ford decides to go ahead and teach his creative writing to the class, pissing Langston off.
- Langston’s eyes bug out at Ford standing in front of the class.
- A character has been keeping close tabs on Todd and Dani.
- Todd reports to two of his children—Dani and Jack—what happened to that no-good Eli (fatality).
- Others are relieved to know that Eli perished in a fire. Or did he? Bwahahaha.
- Todd and Dani try to forge ahead with preparations for Tea’s funeral.
- While sorting through all that Tea was in her things, Todd and Dani begin to deepen their relationship as father and daughter.
- Jack lets up his hardass stance a little to be kind to Dani and let her vent.
- Blair stands by Dani during this trying time.
- Todd reverts to using Blair as his source of comfort, because he’s hurting over Tea. In turn, Blair relies on Todd after what she’s been through with Eli.
- When he’s given all that remains of Tea—her ashes—Todd nearly collapses with the weight of his sorrow.
- Bereft without Tea in his life, Todd tries to seek some sanity from Marty. He seeks from her past experience with losing a loved one, some sort of hope and closure.
- John conveys to Todd that Eli’s brother Ross may be coming back into town, so be careful.
- John has a weird feeling something bad’s headed this way re: Eli and/or Ross.
- Todd has to give it up to Dani that he withheld crucial info about Ross surviving that gunshot and fall.
- Dani fields an anonymous text she secretly hopes is from someone dear to her (Ross).
- Dani shares with her boyfriend Nate that maybe her dad (before Todd) is trying to get a hold of her with this text.
- Dani comes clean with Todd about something big.
- Is Ross or a very-much-alive Eli calling on Greg?
- Greg suffers from a guilty conscience, which compels him to be forthcoming with Todd. Or die trying.
- Before Greg can do anything about his guilty conscience, a text arrives to order him to zip it with Todd.
- Greg sees Marty as the perfect opportunity to cleanse his soul. While he unloads his troubles to her a great deal, he isn’t naming names.
- Someone rings Greg up with serious news and instruction.
- Before too long, Greg will encounter the unbelievable back at the hospice.
- Ross tries to pick up where he last left off, starting with Todd.
- James puts the moves on Starr; they seem like boyfriend and girlfriend. Cole watches them from a distance, heart pained.
- Cole tries to put James off on pursuing Starr, asking nicely if the rival would just back off so he can earn Starr’s love back.
- Bo doesn’t like where Clint is going with Matthew with this internship.
- Matthew and Nate work out their hidden anger on each other by playing some violent, foul-throwing hoops.
- Cristian and Layla go over their plans, hopes and dreams as a soon-to-be-married couple faced with divergent job offers.
- Destiny happens by as Cris and Layla try to resolve conflicts, and dispenses her wisdom on them.
- Kelly prepares to honor her dead mom by scattering the ashes at a special place, when Rex comes up. They commune together, becoming even more solid.
- Next week: Todd demands Ross confess to aligning himself with Eli in all these past murders and cons… John slaps the cuffs on Ross as soon as he’s able… John and Natalie hunt around for clues, namely, DNA proof… John and Natalie may soon find that Eli’s still running amuck. They have their eyes opened, that’s for sure… An attorney conducts the last will and testament revelations for Tea… Todd and Dani experience discomfort around one another… Kelly puts Rex on the case of assisting Dorian… Dorian becomes aggrieved by the latest missive… Jessica frets that Brody will dump her now that Ford’s in the picture… Langston makes it her personal mission to oust Ford from the LU faculty… Cristian endeavors to make Layla his wife as soon as he can.
