    Some states allow same-sex couples to adopt, others will only allow one partner to be an adoptive parent, and some disallow any professed homosexual to adopt at all. What are your thoughts, are you for or against same-sex couples being able to adopt?

    I wouldnt ban it but I like the male-female parental presence in a childs life.

    I don't think there's anything wrong with it. I'd rather have 2 dads/moms then 2 parents that don't love each other or are drug addicts.

    It's said that studies show that kids turn out better when raised by gays, especially lesbians, and it kind of makes sense, to me anyway, I say they need as much right as straights (who often throw their kids away more or less), to adopt kids to love.

    I think it should be legal in states where gays can be married. If a gay married couple wants to adopt, put them through the ringer like every other couple that tries. I think I heard that when it comes to adoptions, gays are much more willing to adopt an older kid than straight couples that only want babies.

    I am 100% for it. Iike Grey said, gay couples are more likely to adopt older kids which is awesome, but not the reason I am 100% for it. I think everyone should have the right to adopt.
