- Dani accepts Todd’s apology for not being forthcoming about Ross earlier.
- Dani reveals to Todd that she’s been sitting on this incoming text, that she believes is from Ross.
- Todd and Dani reach a brave, new understanding.
- John senses there’s more to this story than closing the chapter on Eli.
- When John shares his Eli theory with Natalie, that he doesn’t believe the man ever perished in that fire, Natalie’s taken aback.
- Todd takes up the issues of Eli’s many crimes against humanity when facing off with Ross.
- Todd and Dani try to make Ross give them answers.
- Ross maintains he was unaware of Eli’s crimes to Todd and Dani.
- Ross does cop to texting Dani the last time and coming back to be with his daughter, and now, having a right to.
- Ross cops to working with Eli, then brings out what he says is Tea’s last will and testament, which favors him as Dani’s legal guardian.
- Ross shows Todd a legal document Tea supposedly wrote off on that makes him Dani’s legal guardian.
- John takes Ross in for questioning.
- John lets Ross know Tea’s will must go through probation channels.
- John puts an officer on Ross detail, following the guy wherever he goes.
- Greg walks in on Eli, waiting there where Tea used to be in the hospice.
- Eli updates Greg on making it look like he perished in the Tahiti fire. Then, Eli says he’s going to go under the knife to transform his
features to that of his brother Ross. - Greg examines Eli, arriving at subdural hematoma.
- Eli bullies Greg into being the doctor who does this extensive plastic surgery.
- John and Natalie go about hunting for DNA at the Palace hotel room that once housed Eli.
- Bingo on DNA for Nat. She’s glad to give John something to go on.
- Tahiti authorities notify John and Natalie with the latest on Eli. Somehow the body disappeared from view.
- Tea’s estate is made known to all.
- Blair seeks Dorian’s okay to have Tea’s funeral at La Boulaie.
- It dismays Blair to see Dorian so torn up still over David ditching her.
- Tea’s funeral agitates Todd versus Ross.
- Eli makes sure Todd’s bribe and threat against Ross are recorded.
- Eli nags Greg to go back to the hospice, now.
- Jessica mentally exhausts herself obsessing next about Brody possibly dumping her since she’s damaged goods (with Ford).
- Brody feels tempted to out himself as the one who also rocked Natalie’s body and may have inseminated her. This causes Natalie to worry and not enjoy her miracle pregnancy.
- Brody reassures Jessica that, come what may, he’s in this for the long haul because he loves her unconditionally.
- Natalie feels glad tidings that Brody is on board with lying to everybody about the truth.
- Langston raps with Kelly about the Ford situation.
- Langston briefly toys with taking Ford back.
- But then, Langston would rather orchestrate his ouster from college.
- Langston acts like she’s falling for Ford again until he kisses her, then she takes a secret film of that and shows it to the dean to fire him.
- Viewing the secret shot, the dean has no choice but to let Ford go.
- James conveys to Starr that he saw Ford and Langston acting like a couple again.
- James promises Cole he’ll leave Starr alone.
- Dani whispers into Nate’s ear, something private: she thinks her mom would’ve rather she stayed with Todd as her legal guardian.
- Cristian prepares to sign off on his refusal of the artist-in-residence grant, when Layla won’t let him.
- Cristian desires to make Layla his legally wed bride sooner than later.
- Layla puts Cris off for his own good. Let’s see if they can get their separate jobs in order first, is Layla’s advice.
- Layla suggests to Cris that they make their engagement last about a year.
- Kelly enlists Rex into working for Dorian.
- Kelly believes Rex should go on another P.I. mission, to bring David Vickers back, or at least figure out what really happened there.
- Gigi questions Kelly’s true reason for keeping Rex on yet another case.
- Gigi regales Rex with her crappy time at LU. Maybe it’s the courses.
- Gigi signs up for Cristian’s art class instead, hopeful.
- Langston, Kelly, Starr, Blair, everybody tries to take extra care of Dorian.
- Kelly uses tough love on Dorian, getting her to see Bo and Nora.
- With Bo and Nora’s downer of news ringing in her ears, Dorian turns around and rips Kelly a new one.
- While enacting a role-playing exercise, Dorian hits Kelly.
- Clint gives Inez a broad picture of the Buchanans and Nora. He makes Nora look like a lying, trifling slut.
- Nora and Bo feel uneasy about this, but they dine with Inez and Clint at the Palace.
- Vivian inquires of Darren and Destiny as to their safe sex practices, if any.
- Next week: After double-checking, Todd and Blair receive confirmation that Tea’s last request is valid… At the will hearing, Todd, Ross and even Blair go on the witness stand… Natalie and John keep an eye on Ross… James sneaks a peck on Starr… Remorse sweeps over Langston for what she did against Ford… Ford can’t think straight because of Langston… Langston and Markko cross paths… Matthew busts Rex in the act… Marty goes on the witness stand for Hannah’s hearing…Destiny and Dani make sure they are a part of the hearing… Clint takes Inez out socially… Gigi faces a big bummer… Gigi airs out some grievances with Kelly.
