Are you hard nosed about significant other calling when late?

Really, I am not. We both own our own business, and so I don't know his schedule daily, nor him mine. So, my feathers are not ruffled when he is late.

But....there is late, then there is late.

I despise late because I am a worrier and I envision the worst case scenario.

I might get worried if its extremely late other than that, No.

My wife and I are typically considerate enough to call if we're going to be late (as RedBedroom puts it).

Not hardnosed, but I think if I generally suspect someone at a certain time, then the polite thing to do is to call after about an hour and give an update if for whatever reason they're delayed. I do the same thing. Just so they know that my brains aren't splattered someone on the pavement. With the exception of my daughter, I can tolerate not hearing from them when they're only twenty minutes late.
