| How do you approach them in a way that doesn't seem out of left field or awkward? | |

| "Someone told me a while back that thumbs up and walk forward was the way to show my feathers to a girl/guy as hot as you."
Of course thumbs up is totally out of the realm, but it opens up a nice conversation.

| Depending on where you are at the time, make a casual comment about something in the environment you are in and then introduce yourself if you get a response. Tell us all the details Robbie inquiring minds want to know! | |

"Hi, my name is Robbie. Yours?" A bit corny, but the idea is to just strike up a conversation. Or just comment on something that you see them doing.

| Strike up a casual comment. Gonna need to hear some more details about the person and the situation, though, first before I can say any more. | |

| Ok. There's this guy at work who I know for a fact is into guys, because he wears LGBT paraphernalia (saw him with a rainbow wrist ban on one day). About 2x a week, we work the same shift but we aren't in especially close proximity. We occasionally cross each others paths, but rarely speak beyond a very quick nod or whatever. I only just found out his name last week. I'm on the sales team, and he's a PT (personal trainer). Sometimes when he's going to lunch, he'll come into my office and tell me he's going on break, not because I'm a manager (I'm not) but because I guess they're required to let "someone" know that they're leaving and we both tend to work the later shifts, so I'm one of the few office people left at the time. I say little to nothing to him because I'm not trying to make myself look silly or set myself up to be embarrassed. I don't even know if "infatuated" is the right word for it. . .but he's definitely caught my I guess "attention". | |

Make yourself seem friendly enough so that the ice is broken.
