- Todd feigns an innocent act when he gives Dani a ride to the courtroom.
- Dani sees through Todd’s innocent act. She sees an escape plan hatching.
- Todd nixes his harebrained idea to run like the wind with Dani, to evade the inevitable long arm of the law of custody.
- Instead, Todd tries to bully Greg to tell the judge under oath what Tea really preferred (Todd over Ross).
- Greg lets Todd down by testifying a blatant lie, that Tea preferred Ross be Dani’s legal guardian.
- Todd physically hassles Greg for saying in court what everybody knows is a big, fat fib.
- Blair tries to calm Todd down, reminding him that the more he acts out, the more Ross looks good.
- Dani can’t decide whether she likes it better under Ross’s or Todd’s regime.
- After Blair reports to Dani of Greg’s testimony, Dani’s indecision deepens, because now she has to second-guess Tea and Todd’s mindsets.
- Destiny explores which father figure Dani’s into.
- Destiny lays into Greg; she’s full of questions and remonstrations.
- A very-much-alive Tea reaches out to contact Todd personally. At least, that’s what Todd is convinced of.
- Eli has Ross and Greg over a barrel. It’s a powerful place to be. But then there’s John.
- Unfortunately, John won’t be a picnic to control, as Eli learns of the detective’s suspicions and digging.
- Eli risks everything to make it up to Blair under a new guise.
- Greg diagnoses Eli with a dire head condition requiring serious surgery (redemption ala tumor removal?).
- The custody judge rules in favor of Ross as Dani’s legal guardian.
- Before the judge can rule on visitation, Ross steps forward and presents a tape made of Todd making murderous promises. That rules out visitation.
- Ross asks the judge for permission to move to Tahiti with Dani, for safety.
- Immediately, John and Natalie are onto Greg, because he clearly went back on what he originally maintained about Todd being Tea’s guardian choice.
- Todd goes to Viki, hoping she has some solutions. Like, a way to stash Dani so Ross can’t get a hold of her ever.
- Starr is bummed by the news that Ross won custody of Dani, not Todd.
- Todd, Destiny and Dani say their sad goodbyes.
- James gives Nate a lift when the crappy car craps out.
- Nate hits up James for a solid.
- Nate won’t give up Dani so easily. He has his brother James join him to scheme to keep her in town.
- John and Natalie watch Greg’s every move, as part of their theory that he’s in on this with Eli.
- John and Natalie decide to shadow Greg to the hospice, after noting that the doctor goes there too much.
- Destiny and Shaun discuss what’s wrong with their brother Greg. They’re bothered by cop involvement now too.
- Cole communicates to Starr of Hannah being turned over to Marty by the courts.
- Marty directs Cole to let Hannah absorb things on her own.
- Starr vents about James to Blair. The gist of it is, Starr’s in big trouble, because she’s really into James.
- Starr bends Langston’s ear about James and Cole, too. Looks like Starr and Cole remain on the skids.
- James recommends Ford should try to work at the country club.
- James is hellbent on nailing the bastard who cost Ford his professor job.
- Ford attempts to distract James from identifying the bastard (Langston) at all.
- Langston feels badly about what she made happen to Ford. Maybe she can right it by coming forward about her antics… She hashes this out with Starr.
- Markko keeps Langston posted on his life so far,including his dad having to have an operation. That’s why Markko came back, to be there for his dad.
- Langston reports of Markko’s return to Starr.
- Bo wonders what the real reason is for Clint throwing money James’ way.
- When Bo goes to Rex, he runs into a brick wall.
- Inez informs Nora of what a generous benefactor Clint has been for her sons. Now, James can attend LU.
- Wait, there’s more. Over dinner, Clint also offers his generosity to Ford, to further ingratiate himself to Inez.
- Brody has a serious, no-holds-barred chat with Jessica, to clear the air. Even though it hurts, he’ll deal with the chance Ford fathered their kid.
- Jessica requests Natalie to be her maid of honor in the upcoming nuptials between her and Brody. Awkward.
- Natalie brings Clint up to date on her relationship with John.
- Echo wanders back into Llanview, carrying close to her a mystery that will unravel, involving Clint, Viki, and Charlie, among others.
- Charlie opens his door to a familiar, female face, one he’d been involved with not so long ago.
- Natalie keeps Rex updated on her life, and they bond as siblings.
- Rex enjoys that Gigi has found an outlet in art at LU.
- Gigi realizes she’s in her element assisting Art Prof Cristian.
- Next week: Blair pooh-poohs Todd’s contention that Tea’s alive and just phoned him… Ross and Eli do a face-off while standing on the docks…John reaches Greg whose life is slowly ebbing… Greg rouses while ICU takes care of his fragile state. He manages to alert others with a word… Darren makes sure Destiny wants for nothing at this terrible moment… Greg’s mom flies in too… John conveys to Todd of Eli’s rise from the dead… John gives Nate the third degree regarding Dani’s whereabouts… Dani is in danger of misreading Todd… Starr informs Cole of Dani keeping company with James… Marty suspects Brody of harboring a secret… Inez blesses Ford with good fortune… Jessica’s stress-related high blood pressure forces her to bed rest… Ford sits on top-secret info involving Brody and also held by James… Starr opens the door into her home, and is floored by an unexpected bombshell there… Charlie and Viki entertain Echo, who gives them an excuse for her presence… Echo needs a job badly, maybe she can work for The Banner for Viki?
