| I think there is a real thing in sex addiction. It is an addiction. Promiscuity is not addiction, but more about someone being into the instant gratification that one gets from the usual casual sex.

| I think there's a difference between the two. I think sex addiction is an actual addiction, an actual thing for which a person needs treatment. Promiscuity to me is more part of a person's personality - they have the control to stop themselves, but they decide not to. | |
