Not talking about annoying family members or roomies, I'm talking about bugs, insects, rodents, parasites and things of that nature. Reading bout Robbie's centipede issues made me think of this. Have you ever lived somewhere that needed an exterminator?




If not you, have you ever known anyone who has?

Every summer this area gets Cave Crickets. They are annoying and they hop like grasshoppers. Yes they sometimes come into the house, they especially like damp places. I have had the exterminator and have tried getting rid of them myself. They are mostly outside and I leave glue traps around and catch literally hundreds of them during the summer. They only come out at night and will not stay around if you are there.

Yes. My parents house was built was built on top of concrete. Because of this, in the autumn season, they get this random infestation of little tiny ants. All the houses on their street were, so my guess is that every house on the street does.

No, but funny story. When I was eight years old, I was staying with my grandparents for a weekend. Across the street from them lived my aunt and uncle, so I go over to hang out with my cousins for a while. When I was there, me and my little cousin were wrestling on the floor in the living room, which was directly across from their kitchen. So we're ruffhousing and such, then I look up and saw a mouse/rat/whatever run across their kitchen floor. That was it. Playtime was over. Had enough courtesy to not say anything, but I *quickly* got the hell out of that house and never went back.

As for me personally, when I lived in my first apartment, there was a slight ladybug problem on the window sill, but that was nothing intolerable.

Just the centipedes. When I lived by myself, the apt had a WASP problem.

My first apartment with my ex-wife had the occasional cockroach. Wasn't out of control, but it was bad enough to add Raid to the shopping list.
