Re: Human cloning.
In my opinion it's a very idiotic and downright selfish idea, selfish to the scientists who are only doing it to say 'look at us, we did this, we accomplished something' and to the people, specifically parents, who consider the idea of cloning their children. That clone is going to be as old when it is 'born' as the person it's being cloned from, so the fact is that a lot of them are going to have a relatively short life compared to their biological predecessor, and just so you can point and say 'look what we had done'?, it doesn't sell with me. Don't the scientists who came up with this have anything else to work on, like I don't say, say, curing cancer, or AIDS?

All it can be is a soulless replica.
That being said, I would still get a kick out of having one.

Re: Human cloning.
It's immoral and dangerous. I believe a successfully cloned human would have a soul and be a "person" in every way that counts, but he or she would be robbed of so much dignity. It's selfish to do. You won't recreate the person and there's zero point to it; we have a successful way to make new people.
Now, I do feel that cloning organs to replace failing organs might have a place in the future of science. But cloning actual human beings, no.

Re: Human cloning.
I don't see the point in cloning someone in the first place. To me all it is is a "look what I can do" magic trick by scientists with a God/Whodini complex!
On a lighter note tho, if I could have an age-match clone . . . whoa boy the "bonding" that we'd do!

Re: Human cloning.
If someone can clone Bob Marley...................I'm all for it!
Since I doubt it, the answer is no.
