Yes. My dad took me and my brother out to the Grand Canyon and California one year. We've been to Disney World and Sea World 3 times. I have a few funny stories about that one, but I don't feel like typing it out. Niagra Falls. Camping. Poconos. Busch Gardens. Miami. Key West. Canada. I had a pretty good childhood.

Wish I could say but my vacations were between the end of June to the end of August when I was riding bikes, playing football and baseball with my friends or crawling up and down monkey bars, hide and seek, reading comic books, etc. All with out adult supervision, helmets or other protective gear like they make you wear in the blood sports of today known as Pop Warner football and Little League.

NY, sounds like you got to see a lot as a kid. That is pretty cool.
We didn't really travel. But Mom was not the healthiest, so it would have been more stressful than anything for me.

My Mom, myself and my Grandma drove from Illinois to Seattle to visit relatives when I was a child. When we actually got there, it was great! We went to Pudget Sound to hunt for sand dollars, went up inside the Space Needle, etc. But the trip there was a disaster - my Grandma was so annoying that we joked that we wanted to dump her off at a rest stop in Montana.

Not as much as I would've prob. liked. Still have a lot more places that I need to go. But yeah, I'm glad I had the opportunity to travel outside of the city that I live in. I think it's some sad shit to have never been anywhere. As dynamic as NYC is, there is a whole big wide world out there besides it. I've met people here who has never even been to Jersey. Never been outside the five boroughs. Mind boggling.

I know what you mean. It really is mind boggling. I have friends who had vacation homes in the Door County peninsula and there are lifers there who have never left. They don't even have a great hospital there. In the off season, there is NOTHING there. How people could be in their 40's and never left is something I have a hard time believing, but it really is true.
