    Unemployment Compensation Empty Unemployment Compensation

Under the current statute, an employee who was terminated from their job for 'not being a good fit for the position they were hired for' can receive unemployment benefits. What's your opinion of this? Do you feel someone who was fired should be able to go on unemployment?

    Agree.
It isn't as if the government won't find a way to recoup the money they give to people on unemployment from them. They're not giving away from money.
Never did it before, but if I ever lose my job I will be applying for it.

I don't know what they call it in other states but in NJ it's called unemployment insurance. If you were paying your "premiums", you should be able to collect as long as you didn't quit without good cause or were fired for stealing, etc. As Chris Rock said, insurance should be "called in case shit happens". Even then, I think there might just be a delay in collecting.
