Jessica and Natalie going through the yearbook

I found it somewhat off putting when Jessica was flipping through her HS year book and we saw pictures of Bree Williamson and David Fumero.

I know when characters are recast, the show tends to really shy away from doing anything to remind viewers of the previous casting, but I think it would have been a ballsier and more realistic move if OLTL had shown pictures of Jessica (Erin Topey) and Cristian (Yorlin Madera) from back then. Plus a nice little nod to history for long time viewers. When Viki was marrying Charlie and showing pictures of her past husbands to Noelle they showed a picture of Clint Ritchie, even though Jerry verDorn is playing the role now. I don't think our heads would have exploded if we saw ET.

With Cris I can kinda understand because the first guy looked nothing like the one now. But its my understanding that part of the reason Bree was cast was BECAUSE she looked so much like the other Jessica. So i think they could have shown her picture w/o it being so weird for newer viewers.
