Expensive/rare books you wish were easier to find Empty Expensive/rare books you wish were easier to find

What are some books that are either too expensive or too hard to find that you wish you had easier access to?

For me, start off with the first two Mad Max novelizations, 3 you can't hardly give away, but the first two are not only all but impossible to come by, but they're expensive as hell.

The novelization of Labyrinth, $50 at its cheapest on Amazon, for a movie novel, who can afford that?

Gabriel Over the White House: I didn't enjoy shelling out $40 for a little pocket sized paperback but the higher prices go to $300 - $700, that has to be the epitome of ridiculous.

Ray Bradbury's Dark Carnival, not a copy sells for under $500 and I don't know anybody who could ever afford that.

The Making of Rebel Without a Cause: $35 - $45 depending on if it's paperback or hard copy, good thing I could get it from the library on loan to read.

    How about everyone else?

I would love to get a hold of Good Vibes by Jay Cronley but it goes for hundreds of dollars. I have no idea way but no fucking way.

And I'm going to guess the library couldn't get it in on loan from another place?
