We celebrated Christmas with Dad this weekend. He had a cool story to tell while we were opening gifts.

He was at Family Dollar and had a few gifts for me. He was trying to let the lady behind him go first, but she insisted she didn't need to go ahead, though she was holding more in her arms than he was.

So, when my dad was trying to pay for his, she interrupted and told the clerk that she would be paying for my dad's things.


Isn't that the sweetest thing?
