Have your parents ever given you the third degree about when they're going to get grandchildren. For the past few years, my mom has been pressing me for more grandchildren. My daughter is her only grandchild, neither of my sisters have kids. Why I'm the one being looked to spit out more when I already produced one is just galling to me.

When my mama tries that with me, I tell her that I can give her a grandchild in nine months but that SHE is the one who will have to feed, cook for, change, clothe, immunize and basically raise it. If she's not willing to do all that, then I'll take on the task of motherhood when I get ready.

Third degree, no,l but I know that they want grandchilren, but they also know that I want a big family, so I think that's part of it. The pressue has eased now that they have a granddaughter, though.

Nope. My mother is the only one out of all of her sisters who doesn't have grandkids.......and she's perfectly cool with that. She thinks I'm too young to have children, my father says the same thing. So thankfully, I don't have to hear it.

My sister had 3 girls and a boy - took any pressure off of me. I don't think my mom was that desperate for grandkids anyhow.
And, at the time my sister was producing them, I was hanging with dopers and hippies and GUYS. If I had any spawn my mom woulda been afraid of them.

My Mama used to mention it to me now and then but no real pressure, she already had loads of grandchildren from my other siblings. Glad that I will not disappoint her.

My mother is so disheartened by the fact that I have no kids that she doesn't even bring it up anymore.
