| Scoops & SpoilersPreviews for the week of 20-Dec-2010by Carol Banks Weber
- Inez allows herself a little happiness when she learns that Ford was nowhere on the premises of Eddie’s murder scene, and is cleared.
- Langston fabricates falsehood so her boyfriend Ford doesn’t catch heat.
- James and Starr both suspect Nate and Inez of covering something up related to Eddie’s murder.
- A witness comes forward, claiming Nate was seen at the motel where Eddie was gunned down. This witness lets investigating detective John know.
- John puts Nate through the ringer about Eddie and the murder. In the end, John has no choice but to apprehend Nate as a murder suspect, when Nate all but shouts his guilt.
- Authorities pounce on the smoking gun they find at Inez’s apartment, which points back at Nate.
- Everyone becomes upset when it is Nate who the cops place the handcuffs on, especially his brothers, James and Ford.
- Dani is there when the cops take Nate into custody.
- James and Ford are terribly troubled by what might happen to Nate in the clink.
- Todd stews about Marty having it out for him. He yells at her about it.
- Todd swears up and down that he is innocent of murder. Dani believes her dad is on the level.
- Bo and Nora get to be alone and pay attention to their marriage.
- Bo innocently (stupidly) pays attention to what Clint has to say about Inez. Of course, Clint is all for Bo keeping the cheating a secret from Nora. And Bo does it!
- Natalie tries to ascertain Marty’s next nefarious move.
- Marty fakes compassion when Natalie asks to let things be with her and John.
- As soon as Natalie’s back is turned, Marty goes back to plotting.
- Little does Natalie know, but Marty will reveal the paternity secret to one other specific person.
- John presents his fiancée Natalie with his mom’s engagement ring.
- John and Natalie officially let others know of their engagement.
- If it weren’t for Echo hanging around, Christmas festivities at Viki’s mansion might be more festive.
- Viki lets Echo – and the way Charlie keeps catering to Echo – get the best of her.
- Echo says to Clint that he’s a moron for denying his son Rex.
- Dorian concocts a means of icing Echo out. It involves stranding her on the roof in the middle of Pennsylvania winter on the pretenses of photographing Dorian in a Santa suit for a governor-related holiday project.
- Echo is forced to put on the Santa suit to keep warm and drop down the chimney to escape the roof.
- Charlie notices Echo’s gone missing, while he does Christmastime up at Llanfair.
- Charlie could go chasing after Echo and leaving Viki again, but he remembers he’s a gentleman with a wife.
- Echo thwarts Dorian’s lock-up plans, brilliantly, hilariously, and creatively.
- Dorian shows up at Angel Square as governor to officially help kick off the tree-lighting ceremony.
- Starr’s prison visit with Cole bums her out severely.
- Langston pushes Starr to take Hope to Angel Square’s tree-lighting ceremony as a pick-me-up.
- En route, Starr, Langston and Hope happen to spot James with Ford. Both brothers are preoccupied with what will happen to Nate.
- Starr takes her daughter Hope over to Angel Square to gawk at the decorated Christmas tree and experience the Christmas spirit.
- Starr must hand it to James. He really has affected her. She doesn’t ever want to know what it’s like without him.
- Clint continues to manipulate Inez like a pawn behind the scenes.
- Joey puts Clint on blast for the terrible attitude.
- Clint begins to be nicer to Aubrey and lets her in the family more.
- Blair and Jessica talk to Kelly about Aubrey and her being almost too good to be true. Hmm, Kelly thinks, going into an entirely different direction with this.
- Joey and Aubrey get syrupy-mushy and have a merry Christmas time at Angel Square, too. Kelly bumps into the happily engaged couple.
- Kelly gets very jealous of Joey and Aubrey’s happiness, and begins to plot to split them up.
- Kelly uncharitably seeks to be Aubrey’s undoing—via Rex’s sleuthing.
- Brody does a reading of the classic, “’Twas The Night Before Christmas” for the kids in the town.
- Thursday is an October 22nd rerun, featuring Eli’s last stand.
- Friday is another rerun, from October 25th, when Cole murders Eli in cold blood and Todd/Tea rush out of the toppling warehouse.
- Next week: Matthew casts Bo down as a sinner for cheating on Nora with Inez… Bo bows his head before Nora, full of remorse… Nora splits with Bo, wanting nothing to do with the cheater… Clint brings Viki on board to assist him with getting in good with Joey… Natalie/John and Jessica/Brody do Lamaze together… Rex is on the job (Kelly put him up to) to unveil Aubrey as a terrible person… Marty means to even the playing field by laying out Natalie’s paternity secret in the worst way.
