Have you ever taken "personal time" off from work? In the five years I been at my job, I never have but am considering it....hell I got the time allotted to me, I just never had a reason to use it.

If you want some time off and it's yours, go for it! As for me, I've never taken "personal time" per se, well actually I have, but I called them "sick days"

N o but I'll be taking a week long leave next winter when my brother gets married. Never had a reason to take anything but sick days before, and I'm assuming you don't meant those?

It seems around here companies offer sick days, plus X amount of personal hours per year for appointments, kids' school things, and other stuff that takes one from work. Everyone that has talked to me about them takes them.
