Kids playing "Doctor"

Shale brought it up in my thread about my friend saying he wasnt molested as a kid. When you were young did you ever play "doctor" and by doctor i don't mean have sex, i mean when you were little before you even knew what sex was did you ever fool around with one of your friends? I did when i was 6. My mom and her friend took me and her friends kids to Disney world and we stayed in a hotel (the same room). My mom and her friend went to go grab some food and told us to behave because they'd only be gone a little. I was in the one bed. My mom's friends daughter and son who were twins and the same age as me was in the other bed. The boy was sleep (i think) but the girl was up and she was frisky. I forget the explicit details but she kept on trying to look under my covers to see my lil package! LOL We didnt do anything tho!

If you had little kids and found them playing "doctor" with their friends would you get mad?

I already mentioned in the other thread how my 11-year-old cousin and I would play doctor in our walk-in closet. She got on a shelf, pulled her panties down and I was to examine her. So, I saw these mysterious hidden girl parts at 9 years of age. Our closet clinic never got raided but had we been discovered we would have been beaten and yelled at.

If I had a kid and found them in this exploratory play, I would remain calm and tell them it is inappropriate - try to make a learning lesson out of it without overreacting and making a traumatic experience out of it.

Sexual exploring is a natural part of being a kid and just about everyone does it.

Something similar happened to me when I was about that age. A cousin of mine, who's two years younger than me, found out the anatomical differences between boys and girls. One day my older sister babysat us, and while we were playing in my room, she [my cousin] kept on pestering me to show her mine. Finally I flashed her. She said "ewwwww". That was it.

Nah I didn't play doctor and I wouldn't be too pleased to find my kids doing it either.

Curiosity is a natural thing. So I don't think I would necessarily be mad if I caught them playing doctor, but the office would be closed immediately.

I never played doctor or "I'll show you mine if you show me yours" (at least not until I was a bit older). If I caught my child doing it, I would of course be upset. After I calmed down I would try and rationally explain to them that while it's a normal thing for kids to be 'curious', still the behavior wasn't acceptable.

I did it, I think a majority of kids do. I would be so upset to have found my son in such a setting, but would try to remain calm to not elevate his feelings of embarrassment from being caught.

I think it's natural and normal, but if I caught my kids doing it I would not be pleased. I wouldn't punish them though, I would talk to them about it for sure.

I did fool around a little bit when I was child. It's just human nature - even for children - to be sexually curious. I was 8 and the boy I played with was 9 or 10. We'd play "house" and he would be the husband and I would be the wife at home.
