When was your bedtime as a kid?

Mine was nine o'clock from the time I was six years old to about twelve, I believe. After that I didn't really have one, but my parents would very liberally tell me to go to bed if they thought I was up too late.

Nine o'clock until after 4th grade. I picked it I think. I should've gone for ten.

I remember nine o'clock too, but after the third grade, I don't remember abiding by it too much. My parents would be so inconsistent about enforcing it. Sometimes I'd be up well past my bedtime, right in front of them. Other times they wanted to hold me to the second.

Nine up until I was about 10. During the week it was early to bed on the weekend I was allowed to stay up longer.

I think around the age of 10 or so I was allowed to stay up until 9 p.m. I can't remember all the bedtimes in all the different phases of my childhood, but I remember I ceased having a bedtime when I was about 15.

Mine was probably nine as a kid.

One thing that is crazy about my son entering middle school this year is that this is the first year we have to be strict in enforcing bed times. He caught the bus at 8:41 from K-5th, so he never had to get up via alarm, he just woke up on his own and was never tired. Now, he has to catch the bus at 6:55, so if he isn't in bed by nine, he is dragging tail in the morning.

my parents made me go to bed at 7 every night up until 6th grade, even in summer! It really sucked...I was allowed to read in bed though, so I devoured Stephen King books from about 3rd grade on.

Then when I started Jr high I had to be in bed at 9...It was raised to 10 when I started high school.
