Ever since the beginning I have found it not so easy to digest Rex and women. I don't think he had believable chemistry with any of his women. Between his Zac Efron blond hair, dark, arched eyebrow (not to mention the spazzy way he acts), he seems like an almost stereotypical metrosexual. And not the "straight" version metrosexual.

I have always had a hard time buying that any grown woman would be attracted to him. In addition to -- or better yet, in conjunction with -- that metrosexual club kid vibe he spins off, Rex is like like an overgrown, hyperactive, high school sophomore. No maturity (and little masculinity) at all. He's pesky. I don't care how much he works out, no woman is going to latch onto a guy like him.

Rex is an aging twink. plain and simple.

Yeah, I keep thinking that the writers will write Rex a coming out of the closet story.

I have a hard time taking him seriously, period. For years, Rex was in the same ballpark as Layla: prone to being backburnered, used as a prop, and involved in lower level "group" stories with 'C'-characters. Then all of the sudden he gets shoved to the forefront, and suddenly I'm supposed to think his character is great. He's as annoying Antonio Vega used to be.

I always said Rex and Christian would make a beautiful couple!

Yeah actually I do. Rex was actually SUPPOSED to be a gay character upon his introduction, but for some reason they nixed it. I know they've spent years honing Rex's purported heterosexuality in junk food relationships with women, but I never bought it either. I think they need to pull an Otalia with him, and have him fall into a "surprise" same sex dalliance with a male character. I bet it would be his most believable pairing yet.
