My '60s actually happened in the '70s.
I put 1970 as the best year because that was the year I completely dropped out. Went to a large Rock Concert (a sequel to Woodstock) made a pilgrimage to San Francisco (in a VW Bug - then hitch hiked back to New Orleans) That was the year I did all sorts of drugs and new experiences.
Oh, fucked like a rabbit for much of that time. It was a great time to be young.
Then I hooked up with a crazy guy in '73 who pushed me to travel over much of the planet for the rest of the '70s. (thanks Jim)

I was born in the 70's but it really wasn't my decade (could have been, I would have fit in with everything about it) but I voted "1977" for favorite year since that was when I hatched.
