Have you ever bought something (that wasn't defective), used it, and then returned it to the store for a refund?

No, I don't believe I've done that for anything that wasn't defective.

Yep, I sure have. I had a job as a waitress and I needed to buy white shirts for my uniform. I bought them, wore them, washed them and eventually the job bombed a couple weeks later and I returned them for a full refund.

Yes. A few months ago, I bought a pair of headphones from Target for my iPod that had a cord that was waaaay too long for my liking and the sound wasn't as booming as the previous set I had had. There was nothing wrong with them, I just didn't like how they worked. I took them back and said that they were defective in one speaker. They paid me a cash refund, and with it I bought the brand of headphones I had previously had.

Only for items that have stopped working or were defective - not for something else.
» What is the next expensive item that you are going to buy for yourself?
» What is the oldest item in your house?
» What is your biggest luxury item?
» What is a big item on your current "wish list"?
» What's the last item you gave to someone that was not a gift, just something you didn't want anymore...
