Notice how the kids just openly swear in the company of their parents on this show? Today when Matthew dropped a "What the hell..." in his confrontation with Bo and Nora, I half expected Bo to slap him but he didn't. It's just really weird to me how liberal the teens mouths are on this show. Teenagers swear around each other but I notice a trend on OLTL where the kids swear around their parents and they don't so much as frown.

Yeah - I've noticed that, too. The kids are really mouthy - and the way they talk back to adults and get away with it - UGH!

This has been going on for ages on tv,but take a look at the kids on the reality
programs to see the real deal.When did parents start taking such crap from their kids?

It's called drama people.

I call it bad parenting. This is the main thing I hate about daytime. If we would swear that way as kids, we would be getting up off the floor.

Yeah, though kids today DO swear a lot. ITA that it's bad parenting. My parents always told us swearing wasn't okay - that we were educated, intelligent kids who could find other ways to express ourselves. We wouldn't have dared swear around adults the way so many kids do today.
