    A friend of our family yesterday had another surgery on her head. Her mother said the doctors believe this one (the third) was finally
    successful. I guess it was more than a year now, that she was involved in a car wreck. This terrible accident nearly killed her and doctors say that her life was on narrowly saved by her seat belt. She was scalped, but lived.

    How are you on selt belts, do you buckle up EVERY time you get into a car?

    im sorry, i dont wear my seatbelt all the time...i know its a habit im tryna get myself into..

    I feel naked without my seatbelt. It's the first thing I do when I sit down in my car, before the keys even go in the ignition most times.

    When I was a kid I used to not but when I was in my teens, my mom really started to crack the whip about buckling up and eventually I got into the habit of it.

    I feel the same way! It's the law in my state that basically everyone in the vehicle has to wear a seatbelt but I didn't need any law. I think I mentioned somewhere else that my wife and I were in a crash the day before our wedding. If we hadn't been wearing our seatbelts...well, I don't like to think about it. Fortunately no one was hurt.

    I wear seatbelts all the time and any passengers of mine have to wear them as well or they get out.

    It's the law here or else a big 'ol fine. But as much as I hate being told what to do it's really just basic common sense.
