Hmm...If it was in the warmer months, I think I'd take a weekend off and go to Iowa to do some gambling at the dog tracks. But other than that weekend, I doubt I'd do much traveling. I'm more of a homebody.

I would take my son to the town I went to high school in to live for the time. He has an idealistic idea of what it is like to grow up in a small town, so I would like for him to truly find out for real what it is like. I think that would be a great experience for him to have in his youth. Maybe he would love it, but I suspect not.

If I had 2 months off free and clear I would definitely go somewhere at some point. Can't see just letting it waste away around the house.

I'd do both -spend some time at home spend some time with family, and go somewhere totally different, too, esp. if I had the 2 months off in winter months. I'd be heading somewhere hot!!
