    I am officially not a fan of Ford Motor company anymore. They are spineless, cheap, and don't care about us as a consumer. Just wanted to let every single Ford owner on the site to know that. Here's why:

    January 3, 2011 - Took my '07 Fusion into the dealer because the turbo wasn't spooling. They pulled the turbo and "cleaned" it according to Ford service directives. The tech at the dealership said it needed to be replaced, but Ford said to try and clean it first.

    January 10, 2011 - Got the X back from the dealer, drove it to the house, as I pulled into my neighborhood I noticed the turbo was doing the same thing and not spooling. Called the dealer the next morning and made them aware of the problem, they said they couldn't take it until Friday the 14th.

    January 14, 2011 - Took the X into the dealer, bot the phone call stating the turbo needed to be replaced, and "oh by the way it's not covered under warranty since it expired yesterday on Thursday the 13th..."

    What the hell? Spend the last three weeks haggling with Ford "customer care" said they couldn't do anything and basically I'm out $2400 because they are sorry a$$ m.f.ers!!

    All kinds of B.S. from the dealer, not our fault, bla, bla, bla...Heed this warning, if you have turbo troubles with any Ford vehicle, cleaning it does nothing, and Ford knows this. Watch your A$$es because Ford will screw you if they can.

    Sorry they're dicking you around Jason. I don't know if "Ford customer care" is the same as the Ford dealer rep but if not, you should get his or her name from the dealer. If everyone at Ford has basically told you to fuck off, I would at least write a letter to your state's consumer affairs office (and copy the dealer and Ford). Does it smoke at all? You might be able to get it covered under the emmissions warranty. Good luck.

    JB you call the head offices of Ford and explain your problem with them including how they purposely made an appointment for you the day AFTER the warranty expired. If they give you a hard time write to the Better Business Bureau about what they did in the sequence you posted here. No business likes to have complaints in the BBB. I am quite sure after you speak to someone in the head office they will do something for you.

    Oooooh Jason. I'm pissed off for you. That's terrible. Knowing that the warranty expired the day before and they tell you to bring it in later? I prob. would've went to jail. I would've went up to that dealer and went.off. Call Eyewitness News and put them on blast. Have them take another hit to their already fragile company.

    I'm sorry you've been having such problems and that they've been jerking you around, Jason. I have a 1991 Chevy and my Mom has a 2005 Ford and many times over the years she's had to borrow my truck to get to work, or have me drive her to work, not to mention other problems the Ford has had. It's ridiculous, it's a cheap brand. My father always hated Fords.

    My family and I have had Japanese made cars almost exclusively. My brother and his wife have 2 Nissans and I have a Mazda. My parents broke with tradition and bought a Kia because it was the price they wanted and had the features they wanted but they've had Toyotas and Hondas before that, as well as a Mazda truck. YEARS back, they owned a Chrysler and a Dodge Ram van, but most of our cars are Japanese.

    One of my friends drives a Ford Escort and he is constantly having issues with it. From what I've observed, once Ford's start to act up they are a continual headache. But an '07 is not that old....the warranty is up already? My Spectra's warranty is for 10 years.

    I did think about contacting the Better Business Bureau. I don't know where the hell Ford Motor Company gets off acting this way with me, but it's not happening. Tomorrow morning, I'm gonna be on the phone AGAIN with them to try and straighten this shit out.

    BTW: the turbo is covered under the emissions warranty, and that's only four years. That's the warranty that just expired on me. I bought my car in January '07
