| I don't want to talk so much about the Hitchcock classic that made Anthony Perkins a symbol of terror, but the sequels that followed it, Psycho II, Psycho III and Psycho IV, who has seen these movies and what did you think of them?
II was not so bad, III was way out there I thought, and IV was so laughably bad and it got so much stuff WRONG when you run through the facts from the first movie in comparison. IV was realy THE worst of them all, I thought, and now instead of Anthony Perkins, it's Olivia Hussey who is the symbol of horror, a real bitch in that one.

| Oh yes, and all of them starring Anthony Perkins, but none of them anywhere near as great as the original was. In fact I'd go so far to say that some parts of the sequels are just so unbelievably, laughably bad, you have to wonder how they were allowed to be made in the first place. | |

| Sometimes they just don't know when to leave well enough alone. Every good movie doesn't need a sequel. | |

| I've only seen "Psycho" the original and they did a bang up job on it! I've heard of the sequels, but I've never seen them. My whole attitude is "if it ain't broke, don't fix it!" Although Anthony Perkins was a very good actor, I will say that, so was Janet Leigh. Vera Miles was sort of dreary in this. And when I was 18 I think I was the only girl in the neighborhood who had a crush on Norman Bates | |

I saw all the sequels and while II was o.k. the rest were just plain ridiculous. Seeing Olivia Hussey just reminded me that she was Juliet, she did not fit the role.

| I never saw any of the sequels, but the original was so good that I can believe that the followup's would seem inferior by comparison. | |

| I liked Psycho II. I was like 8yrs old and my mother had the choice of taking me to see Psycho II or John Carpenter's The Thing with Kurt Russell--- she chose The Thing. I would have been better off with the schizo psycho killer! lol
I liked the fact that he was trying so hard to stay sane while others were trying to drive him crazy.
