My mattress is completely shot, or so they tell me, but I have no trouble falling asleep on it and I'm very comfortable with it, so I say soft because it's nothing at all like the hard mattresses I've been on.

I always thought I preferred hard mattresses, until I tried one of those sleep number beds. I started out at "70," but I finally found a comfortable number around "35."

I like a soft mattress. I slept in a hotel once where the mattress was like a cloud. I was in heaven!
