And Justice For All Empty And Justice For All

My favorite Al Pacino movie, and it's an opinion MOST unpopular but I stand by it when I say we need more lawyers in the world like Arthur Kirkland. There's a guy I would want as my lawyer should I ever need one. In general I think the movie's good, it's funny in the parts with Jack Warden as the crazy judge, and I LOVE Pacino's 'opening statement' at the end, and in many situations I find myself using his line about the hearings the courts were doing, that what this committee is trying to do 'in theory is highly commendable, however in practice, it sucks'.

The world doesn't need more lawyers. The world needs the lawyers it already has to be ethical and to get justice for all.

Oh my gosh, I love this movie! I didn't think anyone else even heard of it! I used to have a huge, embarrassing crush on Al Pacino in his '70's movies. I also love the Jack Warden character, he was very good too. I love that part when that defendent was trying to reason with the judge on why he was using foul language: "There's a very good reason for that your honor, I'm a diabetic."

Oh yeah that was good, I also liked it when they had the guy in for what was it, assault, robbery, arson and indecent exposure and the judge asked 'what's the matter wtih you? Can't you decide what you want to be when you grow up?'

Been a long time for this one. But another great part was the defendant said he was a diabetic and that was the cause for his vulgar language and the judge said he didn't get the connection between diabetes and the guy's language and thd defendant said 'that's because you're a douchebag!' ROFLMAO!
