Do you believe that vigilante justice is ever appropriate?

Even though I know this is going to open a whole can of worms, yes, sometimes I think so; if the law fails to put dangerous people away, who's left to make sure the public is protected?

Morally, no, probably not. But hey, we make all of these excuses for the cold-blooded killers. So I say we give the same excuses to vigilantes.

No. Self defense is justified. Having said that, would I want to exact revenge on someone who did something horrible to a loved one. There's no doubt that they did the crime but they get off on a technicality or I thought the jury had their head up their asses and aquitted? The answer is yes, I probably would but the point is I'm not justified. If I do it and get caught I shouldn't expect jury nullification. I should be prepared to go to prison with the belief that it was worth it.

By and large, no…but from time to time, when the system fails so spectacularly, I can understand when the frustrated people decide to become their own law.

I'm with Nhaiyel. For the most part, no, but I can understand why it happens and why people want it.
