"Unsolved Mysteries" (with Robert Stack, not the other guy)

Hi all,

As far as I know this show is still on the air, only with a different host (I guess death will do that to a person), but nobody could host this show like Robert Stack could. I do have two DVD sets with Mr. Stack as the host - "Ghosts" and "Bizarre Murders". I bought them online years ago. What a great show!

Anyone else like this show?

I love Unsolved Mysteries, and yeah, today they have Dennis Farina who played a cop on Law and Order and was the ONLY member of the cast who was a cop in real life, for 15 years, hosting it now. I haven't been watching much, I agree, NOBODY could do it like Robert Stack, when he died I was just in awe because I was watching the show every day at the time.

So, they run new episodes of this? I did not know that.

The show back in the day, used to freak me out a little.

Weekdays afternoons at 3 on Lifetime.

I'm not sure if they're repeats, but they're with Dennis Farina, so I never watch it. I would guess they're pretty current episodes. Either way, the old episodes were freaky, you guys!

I used to stay up every night to watch 2 episodes of Unsolved Mysteries when Robert Stack hosted it, loved the show. Now I can't watch it because its on while I am working. In the evenings now I usually watch Forensic Files.

i used to love watchin this show, even tho the stories were scary to me. shit, the theme music was even scarier. an i watched it when that robert stack dude hosted it (never really knew his name) , had no idea there were newer episodes.

I love Unsolved Mysteries as well it's one of the shows I never tried to miss when I was younger. I used to stay up late and watch it when it was on Lifetime at like 12/1am and even though it was scary to watch in the dark it didn't really bother me to point where I had to stop. I definitely love the Robert Stack episodes more then newer ones. the newer ones just aren't the same they should've never redid the show it just sucks now. They did prefect casting for the show.
