I just had to laugh at how it was Ford who was able to swoop in and pick up Shane's spirits with that pep talk. First he starts developing real feelings for Langston and Tess, then they degrade him by putting him in that hot dog costume, and now he's playing surrogate big brother to a bullied kid. The show is bent on redeeming him.

I thought his scenes with Shane were pretty good. I have never disliked Robert Ford I just think he is a guy that needed to grow up. Sometimes a stranger can give you better advice than your own family or friends.
