This Rex parentage puzzle is about to have me pull out my hair. It's been going on for about five years now, through two different administrations. The writers clearly have no clue as to who they want Rex attached to. My guess is next we'll learn that once upon a time, Didi or Delilah secretly had a baby with Bo, and that Rex is him.

It's such an exasperating maze. Allison playing around with babies is becoming very daze-inducing. I'm finding it hard to keep up with these little mazes of hers.

This stuff with Allison has got to stop.Its hard to believe that one woman could be so fanatically devoted to a lunatic for thirty years.It was bad enough when they did this thing with Viki,Jess,and Nat,but now they are repeating it with Roxy and her boys!Its no wonder soaps get such bad press from the mainstream media.

It is basically an thinly altered replica of the Jessica/Natalie baby switch story (which also included Roxy.) I rolled my eyes at hearing that Rex was allegedly some abandoned baby Allison scooped up and gave to Roxy, because all that meant to me was that the saga of who he is - and where he comes from - continues. Allison's babyswitching is as overplayed as Viki and Jessica's multiple personalities. It is to the point where you cannot even take it seriously anymore.

It's just like the Viki/Jessica/Natalie storyline. Right down to Roxy all along knowing that Rex wasn't hers, but suppressing memories of the truth to the point where she unconsciously believed he was.

First off, yeah o.k. Roxy has a baby and an hour later she is on her way to Statesville Prison to show Mitch the baby, ummmm Yeah sure.... Then we are lead to believe that Dr. Joplin, an esteemed pediatrician, accepted the fact her sister just gave birth as well, no questions asked, no medical examiniaton and just handed the baby over to her because she always wanted a little baby boy. Then we are lead to believe that two nurses wheeling in an abandoned baby just let Allison snatch the baby up and claim it was hers, no questions asked.....yeah right, o.k. This has to be by far one of the most absurd ridiculous baby switching storyline ever on a soap! I am starting to believe the rumors that this is the beginning of the end for OLTL. I hope not but with writing like this, how long can it go on?

This Baby switching has been going on since the days of Karen Wolek and Marco Dane when they switched Katrina Carr's baby with Jenny Wolek's dead baby. At least back then it was a compelling storyline and believable.

Yeah,that buisness with the nurses just allowing Allison to walk away with a newborn.no questions,no examination was really ridiculous but lets face facts,that as not t thhe most unbelievable thing we've ever seen on this show.Sometimes I wonder if the writers are on drugs
or do they really believe the stuff they put out?! :biggrin:
