The Wonder Years

Hard to believe that I watched this show all the time as a kid when it was on Nick @ Nite but now I hardly ever think of it. I don't imagine it gets rerun much today if at all anywhere. Does anyone else remember this time capsule from the 80s?

Used to watch that pretty often when I was a kid but haven't wanted to check for any of the reruns.

I watched it often enough to be a little sad when it ended. Not because the show was off the air but because I was about the same age as Kevin during the time period the show was set so it was just a little like reliving my age of innocence coming to and end again.

Loved it. It still comes on re-runs here.....I'm forgetting the name of the channel, but I do catch it every now and then.

I haven't seen the show in what seems like eons. I didn't even know it still aired anywhere.

Yes i remember this show, used to love watchin when i was younger, and i remembered when they showed on nick at nite too.

Gosh yes! I loved this show and I wish I could watch episodes of it again!

Yeah, I liked it too, but didn't see all the episodes.

I used to watch it with my Great Grandma, it was on right after Golden Girls when I was in the third grade. I did like it and can still hear the theme song in my head.

I use to LOVE this show...It was amazing and I am pretty sure I've seen every episode...

I used to love this show! I used to watch it when I was in 6th grade - I think it came on right after "The Brady Bunch." I haven't seen it in years though.

I saw some of them on reruns.

I watched it, but not all the time. The only eppy I really remember was the one where Winnie's brother died in Vietman. Kevin had done something at school and was in big trouble and he knew he'd be getting it when he got home but then the brother came out and said that Winnie's brother had died and Kevin went off to find her and they kissed. I do remember seeing something years later in which they talked about Wonder Years and how, once the boy reached puberty and the kid playing his best friend got REALLY tall (was his name Paul? Peter? something with a "P"), they had to have Fred walking on something like apple boxes because he was so short in comparison to the guy playing the best friend.

My sisters used to watch it, so I watched it too because it was on, but honestly I was never a huge fan of the show. I didn't much care for Fred Savage.

Why can't he just be a short kid?

I liked this show and I still watch reruns on a cable channel called The Hub. But the reruns on that channel are edited. The show likely won't get a DVD release because of music copyrights/licenses.

yeah - I wasn't a big Fred Savage fan, either. I liked his brother, Ben, much better.
