| Stunt casting if I ever saw one. JVDB is one of the most wooden, muggiest actors I've ever seen. But from what I've seen of Mercy, he should fit right in with the rest of the cast. | |

| He's actually pretty decent at 'darker' roles but when it comes to 'good' or 'every man' types, he goes on autopilot. On Dawson's Creek, he was easily the weakest link. | |

| I like James Van Der Beek. I agree that he can stiff with drier roles but he's great with roles that have personality and movement. I might watch Mercy (never did before) to see how he is on it. | |
