A&W fries

Anybody remember when A&W used to have those seasoned curly fries? When i was little my mom and me used to go to this A&W in the same lot at the local mall and their fries were the shit. They tasted like Checkers fries. I haven't been to A&W in a few years now but last time i was there the fries were cooked a completely different way. They weren't seasoned like they used to be and were bland like store bought.

I can't speak to the fries, but I am blown away by the A&W that opened here. They run a .25 root beer thing most weekend days. And it is full size. What a steal.

I've never been to an A&W for food. LOL, I just checked and no wonder that is. The closest one is almost 50 miles away. I've had their root beer. I guess they're similar to Stewart's. Love their chilli dogs!

I bet it's been at least ten years since I late ate at A&W. I don't remember loving their food, or how their fries tasted. I have to assume that I wasn't impressed, else I would have continued to eat there.

Hmm. We don't have them in Boston.

There's one in Long Island. In Levittown. I saw one when I was out there one time and I had to stop in and get something because that's the first A&W I've seen out here since in a looooooong time.

I guess A&W must be a midwest thing....but truth be told, there's not every where here. You gotta search of 'em. Anyway.....it's been a long time since I ate at an A&W and can't recall how their fries were.
