I never really wanted a baby. I may have gone halves on one, but some other guy thinks it's his. Everyone is happy with that arrangement.

What would be the point in that? What would you tell the kid when he got older? 'Well your father and I never loved each other, having you was just convenient for us'.

No because chances are I wouldn't have an equal say in the kids life. The mother would probably feel an extra sense of authority over the situation. I don't think it's smart for any guy who really wants a kid to get tangled up in this kind of a setup, because he'll get the shorter end of the stick.

No. It's not fair to the child. If I wanted a baby, I'd adopt, but not go halfers with someone.

My question is, what's the difference where neither one of you are together, you're just fooling around, but you get a baby that neither one of you wanted?
