| I'm in a great place, but I don't think a better place if were talking money wise when they were my age. My dad is pretty loaded and my mom reaped rewards from the divorce. | |

| I'm in the same economic class and circumstance they were back then, and like them I have three kids. But I get more points for kicking drinking sooner, and I am much more active in my kids lives. So now that I think about it, yes I'm doing better. | |

| I'm in much better shape physically because we have great medical care and my parents didn't. We are a lot better off financially too. I know we are happier. | |

| My parents were married, no kids at my age. I don't really know what life was like for them back then, but Dad made good money, so they were not hurting. Not sure what our differences would be other than I think I am happier than Mom probably was. But then again, she was living in Chicago, so maybe she was happier... | |

| My parents are 12 years apart, so "at my age" is hard to judge. I don't think I'm better off financially....probably about the same as them. I'm better off physically and have a much better relationship with my children than my parents did. | |
