| Yes. When I'm pondering something, I need complete silence to concentrate. | |

| I can tune out a lot. If I’m really concentrating sometimes it’s to the point that I don’t know someone is trying to talk to me. | |

| Depends on what it is. Admittedly, I'm not much of a multi-tasker but if it's something that's not that serious, I can get by. | |

| Not at all, any more. I can do what I need to do with five kids yelling. | |

| I do ok with noise. Today a friend was here though, and we had good conversation, but her little guy kept interrupting asking for me or her, and I found that quite distracting. | |

| I can't stand silence. I came from a family of four kids within four years. So there was only one noise level in my house..LOUD! Now that I have 3 kids, I have no peace and quiet. I have learned to tune just about anything out. I am currently a student and I actually prefer to do my homework in front of the TV. If it is quiet, my mind will start to wonder and I don't pay attention to what I'm doing. The TV is always on in my house! | |

Depends on how loud it is. I need some degree of sound around me, otherwise I will get bored and/or tired. Like someone said, it's easy for my mind to wonder if things are too quiet. | |
