I have never gone to one as an adult. As the "local" babysitter growing up I attended a LOT of avon, tupperware, and other parties like that as a young teenager. I get invited to them and don't go because I don't have money in my budget for those kinds of purchases and I don't want to lead them on...

It still stands out in my mind as the oddest & ugliest piece of jewelry I've ever seen.

That is really strange about the times. I hadn't even noticed that! Well at least you saw it when it was normal and so nobody will think I am a total nut!
When I first noticed this, I looked at who was the last to post in the Tony thread, and it said me. Then a little while later, it no longer said me, but nobody new had posted there.

ive been to a couple, mary kay parties, basicly makeovers, and 1 mary kay party was simply for our feet, giving our own pedicures and stuff... and ive been to NUMEROUS "passion parties" those are always fun
