| It's been said the comments left on blogs and YouTube are some of the most vile you can find on the Internet? When reading a news story or watching a video, do you bother to read the comments people leave on them? | |

| I do read them sometimes and I've never noticed that. Now, on yahoo news stories people just come off as scarily stupid sometimes. Those comments make me worry for man kind occasionally. | |

| Sometimes between youtube & yahoo I feel like I've wandered into the middle of an elementary school fight. Or an idiot convention. I agree yahoo is far worse. You're lucky to find two lucid comments on the same page. | |

| YouTube and Yahoo are the places to find the dumbest, most racist, nastiest, most immature comments ever. I read them sometimes but don't pay much attention to them. | |

| For trolls who get off on Internet anonymity, check out the IMDB boards. The inmates run the asylum there. It's the whole reason why they had to start having accounts be authenticated with a credit card or cellphone. | |

| I don't really read the comments because you have to go through so many to find one with a good point. The exception is when I watch tutorials on Youtube. Then I find the comments interesting. | |

| The only time I am tempted to read comments is if there aren't that many. If that YT video has 10 million hits and 10,000 comments, I won't bother, because a) What's the point? and b) Where there is activity, there are trolls. | |
