    Do you like tomatoes on or in your food? I don't see the point of tomatoes on things like burgers and sandwiches, to me they have practically no taste and seem more like decoration.

    I really love them, cooked or not. Especially on a burger. They are great in fajitas and in salads.

    If you can find tomatoes that taste the way they're supposed to taste, you would want them on everything. Unfortunately we've been conditioned to believe that thing they put on burgers in fast food restaurants is actually a tomato.

    I don't like tomatoes on burgers, they really don't add to the taste, and yes that's even when they're the ones we grow in our garden. But sandwiches, I LOVE tomatoes in sandwiches, right in between the pickles and black olives, YUUUUUM YUUUUM.

Gonna have to disagree with you on that, Robbie old chum. I think they add to the burger or sandwich experience very much. That little sprig of parsley on the plate is decoration. But I eat that too big grin .

    I loooooooove tomatoes. And yeah, I eat them on their own all the time. Put a little salt on there and it's the perfect snack.

    I like tomatoes on burgers/sandwiches especially. big grin I like cold/raw tomatoes best for sandwiches/burgers/etc. If we're going to cook the tomatoe, just give me the tomato SAUCE! Razz

    Yes, they do make a great snack instead of junk food. I eat them all of the time when I'm in the TV zone. I just add dressing. You can't go wrong.

    i love cherry tomatoes and I make the yummiest baked tomato sauce with them...but I don't like them on burgers or sandwiches. Unless it's a tomato sandwich

    Only for ketchup, salsa, or tomato soup or when they are cut up into little tiny itsy bitsy pieces and there are very few of them.
