    You don't really see too much of this in Michigan, unless something special is happening (i.e., there is some sort of outdoor event.) I imagine, though, that you east coast people probably see this on a regular basis.

    Food vendors on the street: selling hot dogs, sandwiches, etc., etc.

    Do you buy from them?

    Yes, living in NJ, I do tend to take advantage of vendor food on the streets during the summer time. Also make the occasional stops at the Farmer's Market.

    I usually get street food when I'm near museums or near festival areas.

    Once in awhile I get a hot dog or a pretzel. They have so many street vendors now you can get waffles, pizza, snacks, soups, fruit juices and a lot of other food.

    Yes - I will. My friends own a Waffle Cart with AWESOME and highly addictive Belgium waffles. There's also a hot dog cart I love that sells yummy smokies.
