| Or else they won't vote for him? lol Okay, they can stay home. Obama's pissed off a lot of his flock. Don't need them to vote Republican. Just let 'em stay home! | |

| Yep, if you don't like America and how we do stuff here, then go back to where you came from!
Oh, my bad--I forgot--we're supposed to recognize your "rights", even though it seems illegal immigrants have more rights than those of us who are citizens.
Well, get a friggin' job, learn English, get some birth control and stop freeloading off the rest of us who were born here, then there'll be reason to address your "rights".

| I was a big supporter of Obama in the first election. (I was even one of those little blades of grass that donated money for his election) While I will vote for him again out of default, I have been disappointed in the many traditional stances he took instead of the change we all were promised.
Like that whole Rev. Wright debacle where it took him forever to go against his traditional religious leader who is a homophobe & anti-semite. And not pushing to get rid of DADT sooner, leaving it up to the courts to decide - then having the justice dept. fight it.
I hate politics because one must sell themselves out to survive all the different factions. But, sometimes a democrat should just stay true to principles even if it is for one term.
Jimmy Carter was the only honorable president in my lifetime. That has very little currency politically, but some of us find honor important.

How though? The economy is totally in the dumps and you have no problem citing Obama as the reason for it since he's the sitting president, but Clinton presided over the best economic development this country's history and he sucks?

| ^^^^I actually don't blame Obama just because he's the sitting president. And Clinton's economic "growth" was heavily overstated. (But, not getting into that here) But that's beside the point. Clinton's suckage was largely due to other reasons. The major point is that as much as Clinton sucked, Obama sucks worse. The guy is just falling apart. | |

| ^^^^You've given me a bunch of post hoc propter ergo hoc fallacies that I really have no interest in. They happened during a Republican congress so people could attribute that to them on the same logic as others do to Clinton. Or people could say how by the time he left office, the economy had turned the other way. (I had a liberal extremist teacher even admit this. lol) Not to mention the guy was not very impressive on defense. And he was out to lunch on social issues. (Although, granted, better than Obama) This thread isn't about Clinton. You're off topic and you know it. I have no interest in engaging your fallacies about Clinton. Well you kept pointing out all of these great things Clinton did, all on his own. What's Obama done good? His entire presidency has been one disaster after another. From healthcare, to the bailouts, to the stimulus, to his empty promises, to the guy's total arrogant cluelessness everytime somebody gives him a microphone. The guy's numbers are in the tank cause America realizes what an empty suit Obama is. Obama just has failed on all levels, and people are realizing it. (Hence the low numbers.) | |

They both sucked! They both sucked majorly! Clinton was a joke. But I guess I gotta give the guy some credit. In just about all aspects, he is better than Mr. O. (And his prompter too. )

True, but even then gotta give some slack.

It was very stupid on his part (the lying about it) but for the country to be held hostage for all that time with the hearings and impeachment? Bullshit. Worse thing should have been for his name to entire the lexicon as being synonymous with "blow job". "What's a Clinton?" "$50, Father, same as in town."

| If I remember correctly, in an interview MTV during the elections, the President adamantly stated that we have to be stricter on immigration. Where is this coming from? I thought Obama was always pro-stricter immigration laws, particularly when it came to the labor force. | |

No, what I've given you were facts that cannot be disputed and that you won't admit to because it doesn't help your argument any. Clinton presided over it. I didn't go off topic by asking you a question. Clinton wasn't impressive on defense? What did you want him to do, waste taxpayer money on senseless and needless wars and build weapons that destroy humanity and life? Lord knows we need more of that. And you still have YET to tell me exactly WHAT Clinton or Obama has done that makes them suck. But.....this is all my fault. I should've known better than to open this can of worms. You can't give examples. I knew you wouldn't. All you do is make baseless comments without backing them up. If I need any information on the Book of James or something like that, I'll be sure to come to you. - Quote :

He's kept this country from going into another Depression. The economy wasn't going to turn around in two years. It's not going to turn around in TEN years.

| This could very well be who he'll be running against in '12. Don't think history couldn't repeat itself (1992) but for the wrong outcome. "Let's all join hands, bow our heads and pray the economy gets better." Pres. Perry would be an idiot's delight. | |

| Obama's numbers aren't better than Bush's were. It took Bush into his second term to sink this low. lol President Perry wouldn't be so bad. lol Better than Obama's regime has been. Obama's gonna become a bigger joke than Bush! The guy is just the picture of a failure, with failed and outdated ideas. | |

I think Clinton sucked and even I can admit that he could do circles around Obama.) Obama is just not a leader and that is what brought his numbers down. The guy doesn't bring anything to the table except "I'm not Bush" and that only gets you so far when the economy is tanking. I think America just sees that the man just doesn't live up to his words.

Clinton was one of the best Presidents this country ever had. No way, he was a joke. Clinton was probably one of our worst presidents ever. (Although after Obama, he's out of the running for THE worst.) Of course, again, this thread is about Obama. Obama is an even bigger joke. Obama's been a failure in just about everything. And his poll numbers are slowly, but surely, reflecting that. I think Obama was his own undoing too. Clinton was better at making himself look good than Obama is.
