i remember us having a garage sale once, back when i was bout 10, i think it was successful, sold alot of our stuff.

We had a yard sale almost every single year since I was a little girl. We finally for the first time did NOT have one last year and it was GREAT not having to get up at 5 in the morning, not having to sit out in the front yard all morning while everybody comes and looks and only a few people bother buying anything. I like going to them but I don't ever want to have one again.

Nope. Been to a few 'yard' sales though. My late grandmother and my aunts were/are BIG on those joints.

Oddly, when I lived in a less nice area, I had successful rummages a lot. At the time, I bought to resell, so it was my intent to have two a year.
When we moved here, the first one I had here, I made less than $25. So, I don't have them anymore.
