Have you ever had an odd reaction to the medicine you took?

The only weird one I can think of is when they accidentally gave me a double dose of pain med after surgery. The tiles on the floor were flapping. I didn't think we could walk across it. lol

When I was 5, I had a cold and had to take orange-flavored cough medicine. I was in love with the taste, so one day I went in the bathroom cabinet and chugged most of the bottle....and it put me to sleep. I was out the whole day. After that, I not only couldn't stand the taste of that cough syrup, but also hated ANY artificial/sweetened orange flavor. To this day I can't stand it.

Nothing really memorable, except just about every medicine I've ever taken in my life made me throw up.

Sulfa drugs give me hives. Percocet makes me itch all over.

Daytime cold meds make me really spacey and feel strange. I never take them becaue I would rather have my symptoms then that removed from reality feeling.
