    What kind of computer do you have, how long have you had it and when do you suspect you will get another? I have a 3 year old Acer desktop that is beginning to run slow. It's giving me the "Low on Virtual memory" pop up balloon and sometimes the windows screen 'hangs' for a few minutes, then tells me that the system just "recovered" for an error.

    This isn't my first computer (more like my fourth) and I know enough about them to know that as soon as RAM/virtual memory starts acting up or slowing down, it won't ever run like perfection again. I don't know what brand, but I want my next PC to be a laptop.

    Dual-boots: Windows 7 Ultimate; Mac OS X Leopard

    Macbook 2006 2GB RAM / 80GB HD
    Mac OS X Snow Leopard (Out of commission)

    Powermac 2004 756MB RAM / 80GBHD
    Mac OS X Leopard PPC Machine (just kind of there...)

    this is my first computer i got back in 2009. its a toshiba., as wat kind/model, i dunnno. i chose this one cuz it looked purty Smile

    hope this lasts a good while, cuz i cant afford another laptop anytime soon.

    I have an HP g62-something, bought it last November during Black Friday. It's quite good, plays Warcraft well and runs pretty fast.

    I have a Dell Desktop Studio XPS computer, I got it in 2009 and its pretty kick ass.

    I have a Toshiba lap top - works well but the battery life sucks - and a desktop - can't remember what kind.
